I love to do outdoor events and workshops! I believe that words in the wild can promote writing for pleasure! I use a combination of words, music and craft to inspire creativity.

Newark Book Festival – Saturday 13th July 10:15 – 15:15
I’m offering 1-2-1 manuscript feedback sessions as part of the Newark Book Festival. I will look at picture book texts or middle grade fiction.
MEDIEVAL MONSTERS! The story workshop at Owston Ferry was based around Kinaid Castle, one of the oldest motte and bailey sites in the country.
Neolithic Trackway event – July 20th
I’ve been part of the team building a trackway based on the Neolithic corduroy track and platform found on Hatfield Moor.
On Saturday 20th July we’ll be opening it to the public! I’ll be holding two events for families and children at 12:30 and at 14:00. They’ll be story and music making and a chance to be part of the opening ceremony.
Midsummer Fairy Poetry at the Festival of Tyme – Sunday 14th July
Fairies again! As part of the Power of Words Festival, I’ll be leading families and their resident fairies and elves around Normanby Park, near Scunthorpe in a fun poetry session. And there will be a TROLL!
Crowle Peatland – from bog oak to railways – September TBC
